Progressive Dinner –The group travels together to three American homes and eats a different part of dinner at each home.
American Meal Preparation - Cook and eat an American meal as a group.
International Meal Preparation – Cook and eat foods from your culture together.
Public Transit (Bus) Adventure – Go shopping or to dinner by bus. The Americans will show you how our bus system works.
Map Navigation Adventure – Use a map to learn your way around the city. Direct your American drivers to various places.
Local (or regional) Shopping - Visit popular stores or malls in the city or region.
Attend Local Sporting Event - Attend an American sporting event together. Your American friends can explain the game as you watch it.
Local Hike - Go hiking as a group on a nearby trail or mountain.
Overnight Camping Trip - Go camping overnight in tents at a nearby state park.
Indoor amusement (fun) activity - such as roller skating or ice skating or bowling or laser tag.
Eating Out - Eat at a popular local restaurant.
Seasonal Activity Fall: Carve Pumpkins. Winter: Tour Christmas lights or go see a Christmas program. Spring: Color Easter eggs.
Board Game Night – Learn American board games and card games and teach games from your culture.
Drive-in Movie Watch a movie outside on the grass at an old-fashioned drive-in movie theater.
Snow Skiing – full day trip to snow ski at a mountain ski resort. (Not available for all groups and depends on the weather.)
